Skin Rejuvenation

The skin rejuvenation laser is also known as photofacial or IPL. Our laser uses less light energy compared to other IPL machines, so you have a lower chance of side effects.

• This treatment targets age spots, sunspots, rosacea, and red capillaries.
• It evens the tone of your skin and improves the texture of your skin.
• After the treatment, you can notice a reduction in pore size and an increase in skin smoothness.
• Most patients derive maximal benefit from 3 to 5 treatments spaced about every 3 to 4 weeks.
• Your whole face can be treated.
• The treatment feels like a rubber snap sensation.
• Unlike other laser procedures, no anesthetic is required.
• Brown spots including freckles and age spots will gradually get lighter with each treatment.

After the treatment session, you can immediately resume your normal daily activity.

Skin Tightening

The skin tightening procedure heats the dermis layer of the skin with infrared light at a depth of 1 to 2 mm below the skin’s surface and extends the heating depth an additional 1 to 4 mm with bipolar radiofrequency. Collagen fibers in the dermis immediately contract.

• You will feel tighter and firmer skin.
• Skin Tightening will also stimulate collagen synthesis. Thus, you will continue to see improvement in the next 3-6 months when your body makes more collagen.
• Most patients require 3 to 5 sessions, spaced about every 3 to 4 weeks. More sessions may be needed for aged skin.
• The procedure is well tolerated, and no anesthesia is required.

You can resume your normal activity immediately after the treatment.

Hair Removal

Our technology works on all hair colors from blonde to black and uses less light energy, making it safer for all patients, especially those with darker skin.

• In an individual treatment session, only hair follicles in active growing phase are destroyed. As other hair follicles transform from the dormant stage to the active growing stages, they are treated in subsequent sessions.
• Each hair removal session will result in less hair growth and lower hair density.
• Hair removal is done every 6 to 10 weeks depending on the area treated. Usually, six to eight sessions are required to achieve smoothness.
• Temporary pinkness in skin can occur but usually lasts only a short time.
• Anesthetic is not required although sensitive patients may prefer a topical skin cream numbing gel.

After the treatments, there is no down time: you may immediately return to your normal activity.

Acne Treatment

The acne procedure utilizes a broad spectrum of light, including blue light to target sebaceous gland bacteria and infrared light to thermally dry the sebaceous glands. The radio frequency will have an added effect by improving the texture of your skin.

Skin Brightening Treatment

Dermaplaning is used to exfoliate the skin and hair. A lactic acid peel is used afterwards. It improves the appearance of epidermal lines, evens the appearance of pigmentation, eliminates the feeing of dry skin, and refines the appearance of pore size. It makes the skin appear smoother and feel softer. It reduces the appearance of dull skin.

Botox® and Xeomin®

BOTOX® is a simple, non-surgical, physician administered treatment that can smooth moderate to severe lines on the face. This treatment is for the dynamic lines of the face. Botulinum toxin A is exceptionally effective at reducing the activity of muscles that cause lines that form from facial activity, some of which may otherwise become permanent over time. Botox treatments usually last 3 months.  XEOMIN® is the newest, most purified form of botulinum toxin A.  Dr. Mai is one of the few doctors selected by the manufacturer of Xeomin® to introduce this product to the public.

Cosmetic Filler Injections

Restylane® and Juvéderm® are safe and natural cosmetic dermal fillers that restore volume and fullness to the skin in order to correct facial wrinkles and folds. Restylane and Juvéderm are cosmetic dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human body.

Body Reshaping

Velashape achieves results in the problem fatty areas of the body: abdomen, flanks, back, buttocks, thighs, legs, and arms.
